Technological Homes

So they cannot mislead Australian residents. I had a lot of trouble with Ichijo over many points and took much longer to build than expected. I was then posted over seas and never was able to see the quality or end build. The land slots available for sale had already sold out.

Personally I'd try and get a central heating/cooling system, but that can't be done with Ichijo. What Ichijo is doing with the solar panels is loaning you the money, you then pay off that loan using the power generated by the panels, and after that you reap the money from the panels. The trick is likely that in the long run, you won't be profiting as much from your solar panels if you bought them outright, or included the cost in your home loan. I think I crunched the numbers, and figured it was better not to opt in on that, but it will cost you more upfront.

ICHIJO Homes

I know some builders use Hebel which is CSR local. We've decided to built our home with Ichijo homes and just got our tender; however we had some variations and we're glad to share our experience with the sales rep from Gledswood Hills, Malcolm Watt. He was very helpful and accommodating with all the changes possible to our floor plans as well as our budget. We're hoping to continue our hassle free journey to complete our new home.

After the x'mas break it was full steams ahead, where the hebel wall went on, and so on! Every time a stage was completed Adrian Draper our Site supervisor sent us photo messages that made us aware of the progress of our new home! On 21st March 2014, we were handed our keys to our new home! It was built with faultless issues, meaning by that a independent air testing guy tested the efficiency of our home compare to the display home and it came back with better result then what we expected! And the quality was better than the display home! Every staff at Ichijo, made me and my wife welcomed like a family member, we even met and spoke to the Managing Director Satoshi, and he is a very humble Man from start to finish.

You can always check out Rush, but they have a reputation for milking their customers for every dollar they can. Hi Paru, I actually decided to build with another builder, not Ichijo. Therefore I don't really know what material they use for external walls.

6) Ichijo do indeed use the best insulation out of all the big house makers. Again, Sweden house is another one we were/are interested in, they also have fairly good insulation, but Ichijo is the top . Thanks in advance for any insight, or experience feedback with that company, good or bad.

Frequently Asked Questions about Ichijo Homes

We really liked the interiors but we couldn't get over how the exteriors looked and went with something else. I think their houses will look very dated in a few years, but its just my opinion. Plus we were moving out of a very modern home and we wanted something else. To us, modern interiors start to feel very bland after a few years. I like their sales pitch and from what I can tell they use very good materials. For us it was strictly a style thing, we wanted more of a traditional or craftsman home.

It is built to a spec that has the highest air tightness ratings. If you're looking to have a house maker build for you , then Ichijo are probably the best when it comes to insulation and such. Ichijo USA has listing agents that have put listings into the MLS and those listings are made available to websites like landcast.com.

Even though on the website still continue to be available. They will have more slots opened from April but the price will be slightly higher. That’s ¥5-7 million more than the current price.

They are building a new station in one of the main train lines and also building/built around 141 houses within 2 minutes walk from the new station. We went with Sweden House, which has similar levels of performance, but the part that influenced me the most was touring various ages of their existing customers' homes. 013, they started to work on our land and by late December we had the frame and colourbond roof fully installed and it was taking into shape, before the x'mas holidays!

Other Home Builders

Nevertheles, Mal called Nick up and later to our disbelief offered us another property at the Hermitage modified to meet Abigail’s needs and fit our unflinching budget. Once again, our joy was short lived as the bank that had initially pre-approved our loan had suddenly refused to provide the unconditional loan offer. As we scrambled with the banks to try to get the loan approved, Nick and Mal stood firmly and patiently by us, as we struggled to secure the bank loan for our home. My experience with ICHIJO has been one of gratitude and mutual respect in the face of difficulties.

The reason you want a longer contract is that the price to sell back electricity is dropping every year. If you can lock in for 20 years at the current rate, that works out to more profit than 10 years at the current rate, then the next 10 years at the new rate. The numbers Ichijo are likely giving you are the numbers for their iSmart2 house, which is the most energy efficient.

It’s interesting how their smallest options are around 2500 square feet. And of course packed into the lots with no space between homes. Seems like privacy isn’t desirable nowadays. I was sleeping in the kids' room with the baby, and could hear my kids and wife's discussion, anywhere they were on the first floor. That part was a disaster, I could not even process how a 2 floor house can be so poorly noise insulated between its own rooms.

Gratitude especially for the effort in setting up the deal and honouring the agreement to meet our tight requirement. Respect for the patience, understanding, and mutual trust shown despite the delays resulting from our banking set backs. A special thanks also goes out to Maeda-san for also having a heart and approving this seemingly improbable deal. Now we are waiting in anticipation to move into a home that is modified for full independent living and is energy efficient. Needless to say, I’ll be strongly recommending ICHIJO to anyone who asks and would definitely choose ICHIJO again if the opportunity would arise once more. Again, thanks and gratitude from myself and my family for the patience and kindness of the people in ICHIJO (Maeda-san, Nick and Malcom).
